Ed Brown is a writer, director, producer, narrator, and editor who has worked on several films that focus on toxic chemicals. He grew up in Altoona, Pennsylvania, and attended Shippensburg University, where he earned degrees in Electronic Media/Journalism and Applied Speech.
One of his most notable works is the award-winning film "Unacceptable Levels," which he worked on for four years. This documentary explores the issue of toxic chemicals in our bodies and features interviews with over 100 luminaries, actors, researchers, scientists, activists, nonprofit organizers, and business leaders. The film has been selected by 35 international film festivals and won four distinct awards, including Best Documentary at the FIFE International Film Festival.
Ed Brown has also worked on two additional films in the realm of toxic chemicals: "A New Resistance" and "Advance Warning." "A New Resistance" tells the story of Monsanto and their most significant achievement in their 100-year history, the chemical known as "RoundUp," which has caused a great deal of damage to the environment and people. "Advance Warning" focuses on flame retardants, which have been proven to be carcinogens, endocrine disruptors, and geneotoxic to our DNA.
Ed Brown's work on these films is aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of toxic chemicals and promoting change in the chemical industry. He hopes that these films will not only change the minds of millions but also change the world we live in.
There's much to see here. So, take your time and look around.
